Challenge:
Ever since I was a kid, I have fond memories of playing Pokemon games with my brother (he always got the opposite game). I've continued to play every new game since I got my first Pokemon Blue. I wanted to pay homage to one of my beloved childhood games while also learning how to better illustrate using vector shapes.
Outcome:
What first started out as fun illustrations for myself during Inktober, turned into a continuously expanding collection of illustrated Pokemon designs. I later turned them into 3x3" sticker designs.
My Illustrations even had the honor of being featured on the @Pokemon Instagram!
